December to January is the peak travel season to Goa. Kye events include the goa carnival (feb/march) dates may vary with streets parades and a party atmosphere.

1) Augada Fort

Augada lower fort near to sinquerim beach which has a cleanest form of water in goa.

Augada fort is situated in candolim. It has two parts lower fort and upper fort. Lower part of augada is adjacent to taj holiday resort and sinquerim beach. Best time to visit is early morning for sunrise or in evening for sunset. This lower fort is built by portugese to protect themself from any attack by sea route.

2) Sinquerim Beach, Calangute Beach and Baga Beach.

Sinquerim beach is famous for adventurous spot like water sailing, para saling, scuda diving.

It was the beautiful place with spectacular stretch of sand. One side it has taj holiday resort and another side belt of beaches like sinquerim beach, calangute beach and baga beach . If you are adventurous and wanna do squba diving, windsurfing, waterskiing, parasailing, fishing these beaches are right places. You can also enjoy the night paties if you are residing near to beach resorts or hotels.

Baga beach is famous for adventurous sports and has some very good restaurants.

Baga beach is named after the baga creek which empties in Arabian Sea. If you are interested in collecting sea shells its the right place.

I have collected these sea shells at the baga and calangute beaches during my goa trip.

Beaches of goa are clean and amazing atmosphere. I have clicked some glimpes of sunset scenes.

3) Harvalem Waterfall.

We stayed at calangute and rented a scooty it took around 1:30 hours to reach harvalem waterfall. But it was worth going that far. The place was very beautiful and peaceful. Greenary all over and not that much crowded. This place also have one temple Rudreshwar in its vicinity. In mansoon this place looks more beautiful.

4) Dudhsagar Waterfalls.

Now last but not the least Dudhsagar Waterfalls. Its the amazing place in goa if you are a nature lover. It will not disappoint you at all. You need alteast one day to visit it if you are staying in calangute area.
